Famous Miami South Beach sunrise with lifeguard tower

If you only have 24 hours in South Beach you might feel overwhelmed with how much there is to do— that’s why we made it easy with this itinerary so you can conquer SoBe in one day.

Get up for a sunrise beach meditation. Breathe in the fresh, salty atlantic ocean air, while enjoying orange glow of the sun coming up over the ocean’s horizon.

Have the hearty breakfast you deserve after your workout at The Daily Creative Food Inc. Like the name implies, each dish is unique and delicious. We recommend the the Miami Vice with two sunny-side-up eggs over Cuban pork hash, cilantro, and white toast with butter.

After breakfast, take a stroll through Lincoln Road Mall. It offers a variety of chic apparel, shoes, books and specialty stores. You will find familiar brands like J Crew, Adidas, and Urban Outfitters as well as stores exclusive to Miami like Alchemist.

You’ll probably be tired from all the shopping by now, so go for a mid day cafecito. The only way we can get through our days here in Miami is with the help of some Cuban coffee. Las Olas Cafe serves up a mean cortadito.

Head back to the beach when the sun is out and in full force for a nice tan. South Beach great for people watching and volleyball. There’s also an awesome gay beach at 12th Street. Keep an eye out for the colorful lifeguard towers on 14th also, as they’re great for photos!

You’re exhausted from the beach, so refuel at local favorite La Sandwicherie. This counter-serve restaurant offers jam packed sandwiches, salads, and juices. Try the Tropical sandwich— it never disappoints. It has avocado, mozzarella, cucumbers, papaya, mango, pineapple, and vinaigrette—yum!

It’s time to escape the heat and spend some time indoors by exploring the Wolfsonian-FIU Museum. Not only is it an art museum, but it’s also a library and research center. The collections focus on art from 1885 to 1945. The pieces include furniture, industrial-design objects, glass, ceramics, metal, and paintings.
