Deejay in club

With annual events like Miami Music Week and Ultra Music Festival, there’s no denying that this city has a huge EDM scene. After the big names leave, SoBe’s equally talented resident music makers keep the party going. Here are our favorite DJs that call Miami home.

Named in the Top 5 of Miami’s New Times’s Best Local DJs, DZA is one of Basement’s resident DJs. Basement is a seatless nightclub in Miami Beach with live dancers, an ice-skating rink, and bowling alley. Every Wednesday he spins Hip Hop and R&B at the famous Jelly Party, which is essentially a skating night. He is also known for his own beloved party, Peachfuzz, which was at the Garret.

California born DJ and producer Ruene, is one of the city’s hottest DJs. The 34-year-old DJ moved to Magic City to pursue a career performing after attending his first rave when he was just a teenager. He holds a weekly residency at LIV and headlines the Favela Beach Party at Wall Lounge. He is featured in many publications including Refinery 29’s Miami’s 5 Hottest DJs, while regularly performing alongside big names like Alesso, Diplo, and Flo Rida.
