Woman cook decorating a beautiful plate at an elegant restaurant

To get you excited for the new year, we compiled a list of the hottest new restaurant openings in Miami Beach. By the look of it, we can tell 2017 is going to be one delicious year.

Antico Pizza (Opened December 2016)

Antico Pizza recently opened its doors in South Beach’s “mini-italian food district,” described by Centro Storico. The owner Giovanni DiPalma already has one very successful location in Atlanta. His success is sure to continue here in the Magic City, with delicious made-to-order pizza. For a guaranteed win, pick up a box or stay and enjoy a slice of the Margherita D.O.P. with bufala, basil, and garlic.

Gio’s Chicken (Opened December 2016)

Like Antico, Gio’s Chicken is another addition to Centro Storico. This place will be a hit for chicken lovers. Have your chicken the way you like it—with bone or without bone—with mouth-watering flavors like Sorrento Lemon with garlic, oregano, and olive oil.

Tocaya Organica (Opened December 2016)

From the duo that brought you the highly successful Rockwell Nightclub, Chris Paciello and Mio Danilovic are introducing Lincoln Road to Tocaya Organica, a “fast-casual” organic Mexican restaurant. The successful L.A. chain eatery serves up salads, bowls, burritos, and tacos. We suggest the Fajita Del Rey bowl with sautéed poblano peppers and onions, Spanish rice, black beans, vegan chipotle crema, guacamole, and pico de gallo.

You can expect classic New York pies as well as craft and artisan options like the Cheesus Mary & Joseph pie with alfredo, gorg, pears and prosciutto. Molto’s Instagram displays other dishes like the large Gnocchi Verdura with vegetable ragu. You might want to be part of the “Early Morning Drinking Society” starting at 9am to enjoy specialty cocktails from the large bar.
