From sidewalk drag shows outside the Palace, to restaurant hostesses sporting bikini tops, to the loud music emanating from all of the outdoor restaurants, bars and lounges, Ocean Drive never quits. And the drinks are no exception. Oversized, strong, and colorful, the drinks in South Beach speak to the neighborhood’s tropical party vibe. To inform your Ocean Drive crawl, here are 5 cocktails you must try.

The Famous Bulldog

You’ll see a lot of these around Ocean Drive and South Beach, but our favorite comes from Ocean’s Ten. The enormous, scorpion-bowl style drink mixes frozen margaritas and two Coronas for a boozy, surprisingly-tasty that is best shared with a friend. Or two.

Attitude Improvement

Wet Willie’s is a beachy dive bar known for its long list of frozen, slushy cocktails. The Attitude Improvement is one of their more aggressive creations, featuring grain alcohol, vodka, Bacardi Light, and a mixture of dark rums. Try this drink mixed with their Pina Colada for a fruitier, more sippable swill.

Miami Vice

The Clevelander fuels a popping, outdoor club and bar scene with this frozen cocktail that combines their Clevelander Colada—Bacardi Coconut Rum and Tropics colada mix—with their Mickey’s Rum Runner—Bacardi Superior Rum, banana liqueur, and raspberry and strawberry purees. Sweet, fruity flavors and a generous helping of Bacardi makes the Miami Vice a local favorite.

Noel Leon

The Palace is most famous for their weekly drag shows held outside the restaurant and bar on the Ocean Drive sidewalk. This iconic entertainment isn’t all the Palace has to offer, however. Drag shows are best enjoyed with a glass of Noel Leon, made with Ciroc berry vodka, Triple Sec, sour mix, cranberry juice, and a splash of Sprite. Classy, right?

Cadillac Margarita

Head back to Ocean’s Ten for another enormous frozen cocktails: The Cadillac Margarita. With gold tequila, citrus juices, and orange liqueur, you could easily enjoy this morning, afternoon, and night.
