William Shakespeare’s 16th Century classic tells the tale of a group of young Athenian lovers and actors who are influenced by the will of enchanted fairies. George Balanchine originally presented this magical comedy in ballet form with music from composer Felix Mendelssohn in the Sixties. The version you will see this March at the Arsht Center will be more of an inventive remake in a style that is distinctly Miami. Shows are at 8pm on Friday and Saturday with a 2pm matinee on Sunday.
