Ocean Drive in Vienna will return to South Florida this winter, bringing some authentic Miami Beach flavor to one of the most storied and widely enjoyed classical music concerts of all time. The upcoming show is a twist on the Vienna New Year’s Concert — an annual European tradition of music and performance that draws the attention of millions around the world. The Ocean Drive influence adds a Latin flare to the Waltzes, Polkas and Overtures that define the original concert.
Ocean Drive in Vienna will return to the Adrienne Arsht Center on January 18, 2015. The show will feature the Miami Symphony Orchestra’s world premiere performance of Concertino for Toy Piano, by composer and producer Sam Hyken. The orchestra will play under the direction of conductor Eduardo Marturet.
