This May, the Miami Symphony Orchestra is bringing a wonderful show to the picturesque Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. The Steinway & Sons Piano Extravaganza is a comprehensive performance incorporating works from contemporary, world-class pianists and historical composers. This highly-anticipated show will be the culminating event for the Miami Symphony Orchestra’s magnificent Grand Season of the Piano.
South Florida’s most refined musical group has performed absolutely performances throughout the season, including 50 Years of the Beatles, which brought a fresh take on the legendary British band’s catalogue to the Adrienne Arsht Center this past November. Ocean Drive in Vienna showcased Austrian music adapted to a locally Latin ensemble of overtures and dances.
